Thanksgiving

Just give thanks. to everything.

Come to think of it today. I spent actually quite a few Thanksgiving in Boulder/Denver. My first Black Friday experience was at Cherry Creek Mall. (THE upscale mall in Denver) Since I was visiting and it was before internet age, so I just went there without knowing it is THAT upscale. I was driving a stick shift car belongs to my friend and was stuck on the leveled garage ramp trying to pull in a precious parking space. I was afraid of releasing my clutch and backing into the Mercedes behind me. (who was following too close)
In the end, the traffic attendant in the mall came up to see what was blocking the whole line, and parked the car for me. :)

Imagine that: a little Tercel driven by an Asian woman blocking the whole line of Lexus, Mercedes, BMW.....

少年不識愁滋味

昨晚頂著絲絲細雨，在河濱騎單車。雨的味道，讓我想起大學時，某日晚上九點多，因為"心情不好"，頂著大雨，和一位平時不太對眼的屋友，從成大附近住處騎單車到小美津海邊。 (十公里單程，二十公里來回)
騎著騎著，兩人淋著大雨覺得"好爽"，開心地大笑。永遠記得，當時經過的機車騎士，看著這兩個落湯雞單車女騎士的眼光。
那年，我二十二歲，屋友才二十歲。
